Sales Support Supervisor

As a CPU Sales Support Supervisor within John Clark Motor Group, you will have a pivotal role within our business. You will have an active part in the sales process to ensure the required documentation for vehicle sales transactions is completed correctly and compliantly before handover of the vehicle to our customers, assisting customers through the post order journey smoothly and professional at all times going that extra mile for our customers. The Sales Support Supervisor will also play an important part in the organisation and day to day management of the CPU Hub you are working in.

Management Responsibilities of Sales Support Supervisor:

  • Managing the CPU Inbox and allocating deals fairly between the team
  • Logging deals allocated accurately for weekly reports
  • Producing weekly rejection spreadsheet and issuing this to all Managers highlighting any trends or areas for concern
  • Daily Management of CPU Sales Administrators, output, timekeeping, and performance
  • Point of contact for day-to-day Dealership queries
  • Assisting CPU Sales Support Administrators with day-to-day queries
  • Monitoring of CPU Administrator work with weekly health checks on all staff
  • Escalation of any issues to Group Head of Compliance where appropriate
  • Managing good CPU working relationship with Dealerships, Finance Partners and Group Compliance Auditor
  • Attending CPU Audit reviews and feeding back to your team
  • Implementing action plans following a CPU Audit for any remedial action required
  • Management of Saturday/Day off Rotas for Team
  • Weekly progress meeting with Group Head of Group Compliance to highlight any Dealership/staffing issues


Responsibilities of Sales Support Supervisor:

  • Respond to all vehicle sold orders in Dealer web/EnquiryMax and check initial compliance
  • Confirm to branch they are correct or advise if further work needed by Sales Exec/Sales Controller
  • Remotely contact all customers via iStoreDocs to ensure all required documentation is sent and received by customer. These will include Vehicle Order Forms, GAP Quotes & Finance E-Sign links
  • Ensure all documentation requiring signature is action and received back
  • Ensure Finance agreements are E-Signed and returned to activate finance pay-out

Person Specification of Sales Support Administrator:

  • Good standard of literacy and numeracy
  • Motor industry experience preferred within an administration role
  • banking/customer services experience preferred
  • Good level of IT competency including use of databases and MS Office
  • Good organisation and diary management skills
  • Good telephone manner although most work will be online
  • Adaptable to respond to varying workloads
  • Respond to deadlines and working under pressure to meet these
  • Flexibility with working hours and pattern
  • Supervisory/Management experience

Hours: Full Time Monday to Friday (9am – 6pm)

            2 x Saturday’s per month and special event cover
