The Parts Apprenticeship is geared towards training the next generation of fully-fledge Parts Advisor. But what does a Parts Advisor actually do?

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates to earn whilst you learn on our Parts Apprenticeship. Not only will this give you options in your career path for the future, but this will also allow you to work alongside some of the most well-known manufacturers.

What does a Parts Advisor do?

A Parts Advisor is a key role interacting with all areas of the business including sales, service and customers. Some of the duties will include:

• Involvement in the pre-planning of the business day to ensure a seamless customer experience. This can include the consistent delivery of basic customer service and meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
• Receiving, moving, and storing stock, including specialist tools for the workshop
• Keeping records and writing up orders
• Managing returns
• Processing payments
• Organising displays to promote vehicle parts and accessories.

You’ll develop knowledge of our brand products to understand the purpose of vehicle parts and how they function. The work is diverse, and you’ll be working both behind the scenes receiving deliveries and at the front desk.

Requirements for Apprentice Parts Advisor

We require candidates to have minimum National 4 qualifications in Maths, English and another subject however having these subjects at National 5 level is advantageous. Along with the qualifications, we are looking for friendly candidates with a positive attitude as well as the ability to work as a team If you have an interest in cars please do mention this in your application.
