HR Advisor – John Clark Motor Group Head Office

Due to growth and development, we are looking to strengthen our HR team! The role is designed to provide hands-on experience in various aspects of Human Resources with a specific focus on supporting our HR Business Partners and Management Teams. The right person for this role will already be working in a HR environment and be looking to take the next step in their career. They will be eager to learn and used to working in a fast-paced department. This role will be regionally based where flexibility is required for remote and onsite support.
Duties
- Absence Management - identify trends, track return to work interviews, report weekly and support absence review meetings.
- Support site Management on HR cases including attending absence meetings, investigation/disciplinary and grievance meetings
- Ownership of parental leave processes (maternity, paternity, adoption)
- Ownership of activities to support employees back to work
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners on the implementation of action plans from Employee Survey results and all aspects of HR activities.
- Prepare, report and analyse data in relation to HR KPI’S
- Gaining approval and supporting with the production of paperwork for transfers, changes, and leavers
- Responding to all general HR questions & queries via our helpdesk and within SLA
- Internal communication support
- Support HR Projects where applicable
- Ensure compliance with the HR policies and procedures
- Ensure all HR records remain confidential and are accurately maintained
- Additional administrative support as and when required to
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 24 months experience as an HR Administrator/Assistant working in a fast paced, high volume HR environment
- An appropriate HR qualification with (CIPD) membership is desirable
- Current UK Driving license.
Personal Attributes as HR Advisor:
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Experience in the application of HR policies and procedures
- Experience in supporting managers with all aspects of HR, including difficult conversations, coaching and ensuring adherence to process and policy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Basic knowledge of employment legislation
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong communications skills and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Outwardly enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Aptitude to multitask
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
