Vehicle Preparation Technician

Do you have a passion for all things automotive? Specialist Cars Skoda & Seat; part of the John Clark Motor Group, are currently offering a fantastic opportunity as a Vehicle Preparation Technician to join our business based out of our Aberdeen Showroom. This role would suit someone who has an interest in developing their technical knowledge, efficient labour productivity and has a keen interest in the automotive industry.

This exciting role involves vehicle repairs and rectification work though the preparation cycle of bringing our vehicles up to a high retail sales standard.

The role is variable and diverse and would suit an experienced multi-skilled accomplished candidate in the main role of a Vehicle Preparation Technician.

This exciting role involves vehicle repairs and rectification work with varied mix of duties to include:

  • Vehicle condition appraising
  • Road testing vehicles
  • Vehicle repairs, rectification work and diagnostics
  • Ordering parts, tyres and consumables
  • Arranging any in depth repairs and tyre replacements with our offsite partners
  • After sales warranty support

This exciting and diverse role suits an experienced applicant with previous motor vehicle repair experience within a motor showroom. Also having basic experience in electrical and diagnostic repair work would be desired but not essential.

The applicant must be reliable, hardworking, fit and energetic and a great organizer with attention to detail to consistently deliver best results.
